This knitting pattern can help you create a detailed aran cardigan, like the ones pictured here. The sweater may fit a variety of 7-8 inch or 11-12 dolls, but is specifically fitted to Helen Kish’s Riley & Bethany dolls. This sweater is knitted from the hood or collar downward. It does use some complicated notations to describe the types of increases, which you can ignore & increase in your own way. :) I knit on a front ribbing, and close with snaps. Supplies * Lightweight fingering yarn--I used “Palette” or “Stroll” , available from www.knitpicks.com. Knitting Needles sized 000 and 0 (1.5 & 2 mm) 4 size 4/0 snaps and tiny buttons to cover. Gauge * With size 000 needles in stockinette stitch, 23 stitches & 30-31 rows in a 2 x 2 inch (5.1 cm) square.
