Picture this: I’m four days behind on getting this article out the door because of a pesky calendar error. Stress, guilt, and anxiety immediately run rampant in my body. I scramble to grab my notes, darting to my computer. As I sit down, I actually laugh out loud to myself. I need to chill — and what better way to do that than with my breath? We’re all human, after all, and these things happen. So, I pause, taking four long deep breaths in and out, and finally, I begin to calmly write.
