Quite a lot has changed in Fenton since these pictures were taken by the late, great Bert Bentley in 1964. Bert was commissioned by the City Archives Department to record the changing face of life in Stoke-on-Trent during a period of major regeneration and slum clearance. These pictures of Fenton and the surrounding area show all the major roads in the town - including the now busy City Road and King Street, as well as the old railway station, police station and the pottery works.
