Afra and Tobia Scarpa, reupholstered cognac aniline leather, Cassina, Italy, 1970s The Soriana series was meant to express beauty and comfort by using a whole bundle of fabric held by a chrome-plated steel clamp. The "Soriana Chair" was the first piece designed in the series and won the Compasso D'oro in 1969 for its design. This set consists of two lounge chairs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution less
