Back in May, we posted this adolescent girl's 70% in-brace correction. She's a Risser 4, meaning she is near skeletal maturity. Despite that, her recent out-of-brace x-ray shows that her correction is holding well! Her x-ray (shown on the right) measured 38° after being out of the brace for 24 hours. Another example that kids with severe scoliosis curves have options other than surgery!
