In 2017 the Maria Callas Alumni Association of the Music School of Kalamata celebrates 10 years since its foundation. Following the decision of the Greek Ministry of Culture, 2017 has been proclaimed the “Maria Callas Year”, dedicated to the legendary soprano. Our Association collaborates throughout the year with high-level partnerships and recognized institutions and art groups to organize recitals, concerts, performances and all kind of artistic events, which cover a wide spectrum of the arts.
