Change color while making the slip stitch. 12 Stitches. Round 2:- Chain 2. 1 Popcorn Stitch in each stitch around. Slip stitch on top of the first Popcorn stitch. Change color while making the slip stitch. 12 Popcorn Stitches. To make a Pop Corn stitch:- Make 5 double crochet stitches in the same stitch. Drop the loop from your hook. Insert your hook in the first double crochet you made. Grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the stitch. Chain 1. That's One Pop Corn stitch made. Round 3:- Chain 2 1 Double Crochet on the popcorn stitch. 2 Double Crochets in the next stitch i.e. in between the two popcorn stitches. Repeat(1DC,2DC) Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet. 36 Stitches. Round 4:- Chain 2 1 Double Crochet each in 2 Stitches. 1 Double Crochet, 1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stich Repeat 1DC*2,(1DC,1FPDC) 48 Stitches. Round 5:- Chain 2 1 Double Crochet each in 3 Stitches. 1 Double Crochet, 1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stich Repeat 1DC*3,(1DC,1FPDC) 60 Stitches. Round 6 to 9:- Keep repeating the increase pattern untill you reach the size needed. The increase pattern will be as below:- Round 6 - 1DC*4,(1DC,1FPDC) - 72 Stitches.
