Roberto Clemente (18 Aug. 1934 - 31 Dec. 1972) was a Puerto Rican professional baseball player, spending 18 MLB seasons playing right fielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The first Latino & Caribbean to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Was well known for major charity work & activism for Latinx, Latin-American, Hispanic, & Caribbean people.
