Nova Customcasters is Located in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada's Ocean Playground.I've built, assembled, repaired and maintained guitars and stringed instruments for over 30 years and I have a few here that I just completed. These guitars are new, never owned. This one, a Stratochief Model T Thinline, has a Canadian made body. Thinline body, 2 piece mahogany, semi hollow with f-hole. The top has a thin figured veneer, probably photo. The finish is natural. Light stain, warm wax rub, low luster/satin finish. The screws on the body are identical to Fender screws but made of solid brass and slotted. A lot experience and OCD attention to details went into making this guitar. Serial number 6The neck is rift sawn, tight grain roasted curly maple. Satin finish. Stable and dense, it adds a spanky snap to the sound. Straight, with .82" at the 1st fret and .92" at the 12th fret, modern C shape. 1 and 11/16" nut. Plays very well and is responsive. The pickups are Texas Specials clones. CTS pots, Fender switch and cap, cloth wiring. The guitar sounds very well balanced, traditional T tones and has a particular clarity and sweetness. Fun to play unplugged too.The weight of the guitar is 6 pounds, 3 ounces. Light and balanced feel. Comfortable, familiar and broken in feel you bond with right away, the minute you pick it up.There is no case with the guitar. It will be packed safely.I have made 6 of these in total. One is a prototype, which I am keeping. I sold three of them and the owners are very happy with them. The last 4 photos show the other 4 BarncastersPlease, look at my shop.
