The designer knows that simplicity is beauty.. These are well chosen motif and a very controlled sense of imagination to choose only three Irish crochet motif to create a simple but beautiful design. There are maybe hundreds of Irish crochet patterns..each very attractive motifs can overwhelm a designer so I'm really impressed with this designer's control. When I saw this photo, bronze comes to mind. I have never seen anything like this color from the supplies shops that I frequent to. I'm not loving this color, maybe because it drowns the motif itself. The Irish crochet flower motif is best shown in white and grey tones. Black and other earth tones can do the same. This can look spectacular in black too.
