Russian Photographer Andrey Pavlov found his calling after he was struck by an illness that affected his backbone and left him unable to walk. He was confined to a still position, this is when he started noticing and photographing ants. He seems to have an immense respect for the way they live, from the division of labour, to the complex structures they build. People have studied ants for a very long time and described how, as well as working, they play, but no images have ever been shown, so Pavlov put that right with his brilliant photographs. This is a quote from him "I could probably have become a good naturalist photographer, but I got carried away by the ant tales". Ant Tales. Press the Image to Enlarge it. Antsia.
