It was finally windy enough today to get my new box kite off the ground. It crashed a couple of times, breaking the side sticks in the middle of the upper box (they're bending inward in the photo). But man, was it ever fun! The kite is three feet long. Each papered section is one foot long, with a one foot space in between. Plans can be downloaded at the American Kiteflyers Association website.
