Reasons for lash removal It looks good on you and what could be the reason for a client to have a lash removed? The lash extension might need to be removed to give the natural lashes a rest. Your client may want a new set of eyelash extensions. The client might be dissatisfied with a set done elsewhere and want them removed. Some clients may develop an allergy or sensitivity to eyelash extensions, often due to the glue or the ingredient called carbon black. In cases of allergic reactions, immediate removal is necessary to prevent serious damage to natural lashes or the eyes. Clients who have had an allergic reaction to the lash adhesive often cannot wear extensions again. Performing a lash removal without damaging the client’s natural lashes is crucial. The extensions should slide off easily without pulling on the natural lashes. If some extensions are still adhered, reapply a small amount of remover and wait a bit longer. This I would not recommend to any of my clients, yes there will be a lot of DIY on YouTube that they are suggesting for clients to use. There are no over-the-counter products that can remove lash extensions that were applied professionally either. As eyelash extension is applied strand by strand. Pulling your lashes is also a no-no and we always advise our clients not to do this. This is harmful to your natural lashes and can cause the client to have bald spots on the lash line.
