It's like a piece of ever-changing sculpture for your wall, and it helps solve problems some of us (plant freaks) run into when we don't have horizontal space for more plants. We get to go vertical with these babies and that means we can have MORE PLANTS! We love the patina but we understand that some may not. With that said, you may also seal the interior of the pot with a stone sealer found at your local hardware store. However, if you do seal them, the terracotta will lose its porous quality and that isn’t as good for your plant roots. They will work beautifully with a nursery pot placed directly inside of them and that’s the best way to slow any patina (watermarks & soil marks) while allowing the roots to breathe.
