The shortlist is in for this year's £12,000 Taylor Wessing photographic portrait prize. In the running are portraits by Anoush Abrar of the Ghanaian diplomat Kofi Annan; Spencer Murphy of Katie Walsh; Giles Price of Mamta and infant on a pilgrimage to the Kumbh and a portrait of Twin Sisters by Dorothee Deiss. The winner will be announced on 12 November, ahead of an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, which organised the prize, from 14 November-9 February 2014.
