At last. Sweater weather EVERY DAY. Bring it on. Make a little soup to go with your sweaters. October is American Cheese Month. Artisanal, American-made cheeses were reborn in the last 20 years, with much credit due to Anne Saxelby of Saxelby Cheesemongers, who passed away last week at 40. She was the original champion of craft American cheesemakers, and the food world will miss her leadership. Read more about Anne here, and make a cheese board this weekend in her honor. Traveling soon? Maybe to Hotel Jerome? Love this Wegner-inspired counter stool. Wouldn’t these be cute in the kiddos’ bedroom or bath? Here’s what we’re reading this week. Anyone else suddenly find themselves with a crush on Stanley Tucci?? See you next week!
