I'm so happy to have yet another set of my best selling Attention Grabber Posters for you and your kids to enjoy! Please see the first edition here. This is most definitely one of my most fun items, for both me and the students! Attention Grabbers are call and response sayings that educators can use for most importantly behavior management and transition times throughout the day. How they work is the teacher starts out the call and response by stating the first part of the phrase. The students then call out in unison, the second part. They really do work because they're catchy phrases that usually rhyme and are familiar to the students. They also can have meanings behind them that remind the students what they should be or are about to be asked to do. For example, my absolute favorite Attention Grabber I use is I call out, "www dot" and the students respond, "zip it, dot com." How funny is that? It's a polite and fun way to get the class quiet that the students don't mind responding to because it's fun and different. I've made attractive posters of 27 Attention Grabbers that I use and also provided them for you in index card size so you can put them on a teacher ring for your own use if you'd like. The students can also be given the cards if you'd like them to practice them. Once you and the students have them down pat, transitions and behavior management will be all the easier, trust me! Here's a list of the Attention Grabbers I've included: Get it? Got It? Good! Meanwhile... Back at the Ranch. To Infinity... And Beyond! No bees, no honey. No work, no money! Here's some feedback from a customer from my first edition of posters: "... I just had to come back and tell you that my class and I have been saying "Holy Moly; Guacamole" and "www dot; zip it dot com" all day. What fun! I'm still smiling. :) I hope this product will be wildly successful for you, because it can change the atmosphere of a classroom and help children enjoy learning. That's what good classroom management is all about!! Thank you for sharing!" Michaelene at Rosie's Resources
