Why not buy the "ugly" plant on sale? There's plants you can find all the time on sale at plant stores due to their apperance. Don't get me wrong, the plant could have had bugs/issues. USUALLY if it did have issues and it's back on the sales floor it's because they got rid of whatever it was, it's just not as we'll call it put together, as it could be. It's a great opportunity to find a costly plant at half the price!
