The dark-lipstick trend we previewed on the fall 2015 runways is not waiting around until Labor Day to pick up steam—it's ready to go right now. The latest example: Chrissy Teigen wore a rich plum shade to the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Before that, we saw similarly dark lips on Sophia Bush... ...and Sofia Vergara. Katy Perry went almost vampy-dark recently too. Like so many things in fashion right now, this look is oh so '90s; it gets us nostalgic for the deep burgundy and brownish-red lipsticks iconically worn by stars like Drew Barrymore, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Aniston, and Cindy Crawford during that decade.
