My friend sent me this article in The New York Times about "The 1970's Bachelor Pad" I started reading about this man Tom Fallon's 1970's bachelor pad designed by Jay Spectre. I've seen a bunch of Jay Spectre's furniture over the years and it never really did anything for me. Somehow all together it just works. So many layers of different styles and the dude just knew how to add interest to an otherwise boring room. So many places in NYC have these weird bed platforms or sunken in living rooms and to me I always hated them. These pictures have me thinking otherwise.
