Bryggen i Bergen is a world heritage with roots dating back to the 11th century although in this incarnation the houses are from the 18th century and onwards. The buildings look good considering their age but, for instance due to a massive explosion in the harbour during WWII, they are now tilting slightly in various directions. When seen from behind the patchwork of buildings is a nice potpourri of colors. You should watch this Large On Black since that brings out more details. My pictures aren't balanced for a white background and a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format.
