The St. Louis Union Station was once the largest and busiest passenger rail terminal in the world. Today it is a rather unremarkable mall. I used 10 shots one f-stop apart for this image. Used Photomatix 4 beta to do the HDR. Because there are so many shots, the people walking around magically disappeared, probably because I didn't select the eliminate ghosting option. One more trick learned. I also unchecked the reduce noise option in Photomatix, and reduced noise using Imagenomic Noiseware after I had tonemapped the image. Then I used smart sharpen, color balance and a fairly strong curves. Then I applied freaky detail and finished with burning using a multiply layer.
