Paired with sweeping Callaghan Valley views and a cliffside hot tub, the Ancient Cedars Estate represents modern Whistler at its best. Luminous and filled with natural light, Dover was a natural fit in this airy, open format space. Extending through the common areas and corridors, the planed oak flooring unifies the surfaces while softly suggesting motion and vibrant energy. Seen here in 10 in (260mm) widths, Dover joins our diverse European oak offering in the Wixom Collection. Designed by Julia Hazeldine Bonnell and built by Gavan Construction, this ski-in, ski-out chalet represents the ultimate in modern mountain luxury. The team was tasked with updating the ski chalet standard while continuing a heritage of rustic living. Along with nods to tradition like antler and sheepskin accents, Dover’s knotty surface and natural finish gently remind the viewer that adventure awaits.
