These pretty little red and white earrings are perfectly unique, handcrafted from repurposed wallpaper samples so that every pair differs just slightly. The lightly textured wallpaper boasts a red and pink pattern reminiscent of embroidered upholstery and proudly displays embossed braille lettering. The braille reads: "love" Odds are pretty good that you found these earrings because you typed "braille" into the search bar and, let me guess– you didn't get a million search results. As a parent of a visually impaired child, I'm heartbroken to see how rarely braille is showcased in brick and mortar shops. I can't find braille very easily in books, on clothing, or, especially, on jewelry. There are many braille readers in the world today and these earrings have been carefully crafted with them in mind. For the blind teenager who celebrates her individuality, the mother lovingly caring for her visually impaired child, for the grandmother who loves to brag about how resilient her grandchild is in spite of disability, and for the friend who's always there giving support and empathy– I hope these earrings bring just a little extra special sparkle into your world! A message from our inspiration: "Hi! My name is Lady Kate. Before I was born I had a big stroke. It hurt the part of my brain that should let me see, walk, and talk. I am blind and need lots of help because my brain injury can't heal. But I'm stubborn! I just turned four, and I’ve learned to use other parts of my brain to do things that drs said I would never do! My drs, therapists, friends, and family members are helping me to overcome my disabilities so that I can be independent! My parents make this pretty jewelry to help support our family so that they have time to help me and teach others about me.
