One physics lab that all students enjoy is the Ticker Tape Timer. This new lab activity was designed for regular and Honors high school physics students. In this lab students have the opportunity of learning how to interpret different types of ticker tape timer diagrams, such as those representing constant velocity, acceleration, and deceleration. How to read the tape and perform the necessary calculations are explained in detail. A good thing about this product is that it has an additional eight different ticker tape timer diagrams that can be used by those teachers and students that want to do the lab but do not have the acceleration timers. For each diagram, students will know what variables to solve.
