This is an instant download crochet pattern, not the finished product! Cassie bag - video tutorial. Crochet your own high fashion purse! I created Cassie bag in 2020, it was my very first crochet pattern. It’s also my very own favorite bag to make. This video tutorial is beginner friendly and easy to understand. I will show you how to make this bag step by step. It’s a very thorough video tutorial, it is 4 hours 30 minutes long and it is divided into two parts. After purchasing you will receive a PDF file with a link to the tutorial. Video tutorial is made in English, it has English subtitles as well. You can change the subtitles from English to any other language. Basic supplies that you will need to make Cassie bag: * 2 skeins of T-shirt yarn (around 220 meters all together, ~760 grams all together). I use premium quality T-shirt yarn made in Poland. Length: 110-120 m, weight: 380 +/- 30 grams. Thickness of one skein’s strand is around 7-8 mm, coiled strip 2-2,5 cm wide. No width differences. It’s very important that you use T-shirt yarn with similar measurements as I do. Otherwise there might occur differences in dimensions of your finished bag. The manufacturer of my T-shirt yarn is Pimotki. You can purchase it on my Etsy Shop as well. Recommended brands of T-shirt yarn: Pimotki, Biskvit; * Crochet hook 6mm (US J-10). * 110 cm steel chain. * 2 opening rings (25mm inner diameter). * 2 magnetic clasps (18mm outer diameter). * Transparent sewing thread (alternatively you can use a thead in a color that matches the bag). * Plastic needle. * Stitch markers. * Upholstery needle. * Seger pliers (i use it to join the chain together). * Measuring tape. * Scissors. Bag external dimensions: around 23cm x 16cm x 8cm (9,06” x 6,29” x 3,14”) (Attention! Size of a finished bag depends on density of one’s crocheting) In this video tutorial you will learn how to make the main panel and side panels of Cassie bag. I will show you how to make horizontal and vertical straps. You will learn how to sew magnetic fasteners to the main panel and the flap of the bag. I will share with you tricks which I use to crochet my handbags. I offer pattern-assistance, contact me if you have any issue with the understanding of the creating process presented in the video.
