Bonaventure Cemetery is a rural cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia. The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the subsequent movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book. This photograph features the road leading into the cemetery and that road is lined with live oak trees dripping in gorgeous Spanish moss. The days I visited this cemetery, the weather was spectacular and the entire cemetery emanated a wonderful feeling of serenity and tranquility. There was a sift breeze and the sunshine was warm and radiant. This photo would make an excellent gift for anyone who adores Savannah or the history of the city. This photo comes in various standard sizes and is printed on archival paper.
