My Red Door Friend is a heartfelt personalized poetry gift like no other! Celebrate that friend in your life who makes you and everyone around them feel so special. This poem makes a perfect gift for your friend who has a “Red door heart” and goes above and beyond to make others feel welcomed, loved, and seen. The poem comes in two choices: A Christmas version and one for all year round. It reads: My Red Door Friend Back in the day people painted their doors red to welcome others in, And they provided safety and love to all of their family and friends. Every day and situation this is what you do, Making all feel invited, welcomed, and cherished too. You have a red door heart that beats to love like our Lord, And you're an incredible blessing I'm so thankful for. Thank you for loving everyone so well and I hope and pray, You know you are loved and appreciated every single day! © 2021 Holly Haynes- Justthewritegift My Red Door Friend comes on white, quality, card stock paper and in a white 5x7 table top frame. I painted my door red a few years ago. After painting it I decided to look up and see if a red door carried any meaning. One of the meanings was back in the day when others traveled by foot and saw a red door it signified it was a safe and welcoming place for a weary traveler. As soon as I read the description, I thought of Christ and how He had been that for me. And also, how as Christians we are to be that for others. And then it got me thinking of all the "Red Door People" I have had in my life who have been a safe place for me. So that is why I wrote the Red Door Poem and now offer it as a personalized gift for all the Red Door People in our lives! :) © All writing is by Holly Haynes and copyrighted.
