Kids usually love to play Bingo! So to reinforce the 2-D Shapes that students are learning, I created a blank BINGO CARD for the students. It has 9 boxes, so with the FREE space in the middle of the card, students will need to draw (and label) 8 different shapes in the blank boxes. Suggested shapes are: circle triangle (3 sides) quadrilateral (4 sides) or square, rectangle, rhombus, trapezoid pentagon (5 sides) hexagon (6 sides) heptagon (7 sides) octagon (8 sides) nonagon (9 sides) decagon (10 sides) Younger students can instead draw (or trace) a large and small circle, square, rectangle, and triangle to fill in the 8 boxes. The teacher (or an older student) needs to make a set of calling cards that matches all the pictures on the students' cards. Let the students choose the boxes on their BINGO Card to draw each of their shapes in so that no two cards will be the same. Here's a sample!
