In occasione dell’anniversario della morte di Agatha Christie, che ci ha lasciato esattamente il 12 gennaio del 1976, voglio suggerire a tutti gli amanti della lettura di rispolverare quel vecchio libro della regina del giallo che tutti abbiamo in casa. Eh si, sono sicura che amanti o no del crimine e dei polizieschi, non ci sia casa dove non sia presente un romanzo di Agatha Christie. Personalmente adoro il suo stile, semplice, chiaro e molto dettagliato. Tutti i suoi libri riescono ad affascinarmi dalla prima all’ultima pagina. Ogni capitolo, ogni frase direi, così ben strutturata, riescono a farmi partecipare agli avvenimenti, i quali sono descritti in maniera molto avvincente. Ammetto che il giallo è stato il primo genere letterario della mia infanzia, grazie ai consigli di mio padre e da quel giorno non l’ho mai abbandonato. Ho ampliato le mie letture in quasi tutti i campi, ad altri autori gialli e no, ma poi torno a rileggere i classici di Agatha ed è un po’ come tornare a casa. La raffinatezza dei metodi investigativi di Monsieur Hercule Poirot, la sua logica freddezza nell'analizzare i fatti, o come direbbe lui, il suo accurato lavoro di cellule grigie, la dolcezza di Miss Marple che nasconde un acume fuori dal comune e una costante attenzione ad ogni piccolo dettaglio, solo Agatha Christie è stata capace di plasmare queste caratteristiche psicologiche e metterle ben chiare in ogni suo romanzo. Decisamente Agatha Christie riesce anche dopo vari tenativi di imitazione, ad avere uno stile unico e sempre molto attuale. Non potrei e non voglio consigliare un libro in particolare, tutti sono ugualmente avvincenti e quasi di lettura obbligata. Fatevi rapire dal fascino del mistero e provate ad investigare insieme a M.
