Lovingly handcrafted fused glass coastal wall art. “Fowey” Size 63cm x33cm ( including frame) Made by me “kirstyn” aka Cornish fused glass in my studio right in the middle of Cornwall. These series of artworks have been inspired by the beautiful surroundings I am lucky to live near, and combine happy memories of my childhood along with present memories of beach days with my wonderful family 😀 They have been created using a variety of bullseye products from powdered glass to solid opaque and transparent sheet glass, glass enamel, glassline paints and finally specialist dichroic glass. They take multiple firings in my kiln with many different programs each time taking around 10/12 hours. They are then finished off in a beautiful white frame and ready to be hung in their new home. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have loved making them. Coed Enfys - translated is Rainbow trees The Coed Enfys (rainbow trees) design was influenced by a few directions. It started with a cherry bloosom in a japanses style art commission which when I researched, I was drawn to the elegance and lightness of the style. I was also spending every week in Craig-y-nos country park surrounded by trees watching the seasons and the realising there are no rules with the colours. With these two influnces my trees grew. I make my glass in small batches and the photo might not be the exact one you will receive.

Growing up and living in Cornwall I have always had the pleasure of many day trips to our beautiful beach’s and glorious woods. I am very much inspired by all of these stunning places when it comes to creating my fused glass art. The colours in this artwork are a selection of bullseyes finest opal and transparent powdered and sheet glass. The glass art comes framed as you can see in the photographs.
