Hi Crafty Friends! Better late than never...I am finally getting to sharing how to make the mini legal pad folder covers made with card stock. I used Mossy Meadow and the Magnolia Lane DSP. The mini legal pad tucks into one of the pockets. I used adhesive velcro to close the folder. Measurements: Card Stock, 2 pieces: 1 at 5 7/8 x 11, score short side at 5 1/2 and long side at 2 3/4. 1 at 8 x 11, score short side at 3/8, 5 7/8, 6 1/4 and long side at 2 3/4. DSP: 1- 3/4 x 5 1- 1 1/2 x 8 2- 5 1/4 x 8 You'll need tear tape or liquid glue to attach the 2 pieces of card stock together. The video gives the full instructions. These are quick and easy to make. I think they would make great gifts or items for a craft fair. You can shop for all the supplies used here: audramonk.stampinup.net. Have questions? Let me know. Here are the projects I made for my team using Stampin' Up pocket folders. I used a tutorial by Christy Wright. She did a great video tutorial on it. Christy's tutorial Depending on your folder, you may need to tweak things just a bit as I did for the green folders. And here are the ones I made from file folders. You can see the instructions for them here: https://thecraftyyogi.blogspot.com/2019/09/notebook-covers-with-non-pocket-folders.html Stay Crafty! Audra

Whop Whop its the weekend, the first day of the school holidays and no rain........ so far. I've been rooting through all my left over papers that have been sitting in the cupboard for ages and decided to use some of them to make some notebook holders for my stall at the craft fair. It didn't take long to transform two sheets of paper and some chipboard into a gorgeous gorgeous little gift that would be great for stocking fillers, table top sales, charity fund raising events and birthday gifts too. A great little make to do with the children too. I used the Once Upon a Springtime papers for the three above, decorating the front with the cut out fairy frames and a little bit of glitter........ If you fancy making some here's all you need to know to get started: What you need: Two x 12 x 12 papers Two chipboard pieces 7 1/4" x 5" and one 7 1/4" x 1/2" Notepad 4" x 5 3/4" (four for a £ from the Range) Double sided tape Glue Distress ink for paper edges Decoration for the front What to cut: Paper no 1 - cut at 9 1/4" deep x 12" wide. From left over piece cut 4 3/4" wide strip Paper No 2 - cut at 7 1/8" and then cut two 4 3/4" wide x 7 1/8" pieces. Keep the left over piece for the spine cover inside your holder. and how to make one: Have fun, enjoy your weekend and catch up again soon :-) C www.mycreativepsirit.co.uk
