Theatre « Marquise de Pompadour » by Figurart with "L'initiation" decor set Figurart is an Atelier based in the beautiful town of Compiègne in the North of France where I, as a miniature painter, and my husband, Benjamin, as a sculptor, create our unique universe of decorative objects. The «Marquise de Pompadour» theater was inspired by the British tradition of paper theater, which takes roots in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Our theater is made of MDF wood-based materials, covered with casein-based paint in pastel ash-brown, gray-blue, pink, or yellow colors representing joy and ease of being, in other words, the ambiance of the fashion among French royalties. The theatre includes decor « L'initiation » which consists of a background layer, 3 pairs of side decors, and 4 characters. The theater was created and developed by me in our workshop, where I assemble it, paint, varnish, carefully pack and send it to our beloved customers. Additionally, the theater can be personalized by writing your name, last name, or initials on the front shield. If you would like to do this or have left any further questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with me via direct message.
