Soya wax - C-3 - Cargill - NatureWax 250g Soya wax is the new 100% natural wax, based on soybean oil, specific for making candles in containers, tarts and candles. It has excellent adhesion to containers, and excellent fragrance that binds perfectly with aromas. Candles made with C-3 wax have a pleasant appearance and are resistant to any type of climate. C-3 has an exceptional fragrance with fragrances and essential oils and a creamy white appearance. Comes in easy to measure flakes. Adding Fragrance: C-3 soya wax takes fragrance well, the maximum recommended use level in your candles is 8%. To minimize fragrance loss, add your fragrances at around 57°C Candle Wicks: C-3 soya wax requires a larger wick than paraffin. Paper, cotton, or metal wicks should be avoided as they tend to cause soot or carbon buildup in your candles To Add Colors: For powdered colors, heat soy wax to 88°C before adding it, then stir until dissolved. For liquid colours, colour blocks, chips or no colour at all, heat your soy wax to 68°C How to use: C-3 soya wax can be poured at a temperature as low as 38°C if the wax is constantly mixed. Try not to pour at high temperatures so that the wax remains liquid for 30 minutes or more after pouring. C-3 is designed to adhere to glass containers, so slower cooling times are beneficial. Spark plugs should be cooled to approximately 21°C, uncovered for at least 48 hours before burning test
