An art studio predominantly known for its imaginative ceramic works, Perro y Arena's iconic style translates perfectly onto the wall in this series of prints. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Baja region, their work features a playful cast of mythical desert characters. This minimalist yet bold piece, entitled "Los Musicos," features three of those characters playing music together - the coyote, hare, and crow. *Please note: - All purchases on our FB/Insta Shop come unframed (see our main site for framing options). - The image may crop slightly different based on the aspect ratio of your print. - The first listing image is a 30"x44" in our black frame option with no mat. - An closeup look will reveal a slight speckle texture reminiscent of Perro y Arena's ceramic works.

I’m not sure it’s possible to infuse black tape with more energy than Polish artist Monika Grzymala has accomplished with her piece Raumzeichnung, roughly “Drawing of a Room”. The three dimensional installation which seems to launch from columns in the basement of Galerie Crone was installed in 2012 and required 3.1 miles (that’s 5km) of stretched, cut, and criss-crossed tape. According to Ignant the artist begins her work from scratch in the gallery, working intuitively with tape to sketch out ideas as she conceives them until the work is done. More
