Tapestry woven of handspun wool, silk and some miscellaneous fibers on a handspun wool warp. The sett is 12 epi and the tapestry measures 13" x 4.5". This was woven from various watercolor paintings I did of the moon rising over the Bridger mountains here in Montana.

Colorful tapestry "Liljor/Lilies" designed by Ingegerd Silow for Axeco, Sweden. The tapestry depicts an arrangement of stylized lilies in shades of bright orange and yellow accented by green leaves and a blue butterfly. The wall hanging is made from pure new wool and linen, and is monogram-signed in the weave and labeled on the back. The lower end is tasseled. The condition is very good, all the tassels are intact and there are no flaws that I can find. There might be a very slight fading to the colors, but they are still vibrant and beautiful. Using embroidery, yarn, and wool, she creates landscapes and other imagery that exists in the space between tapestry and sculpture.
