About The Artwork The painting is inspired the American abstract expressionist movement of the 1950s and 60s, especially the works of Jackson Pollock. The painting shows the release of different emotions of an individual and reflects the different pathways these releases might take. Some emotions are easily released and these are shown by the more localised application of paint whereas others take a much more convoluted pathways indicated by the longer and thicker paint applications. (Hello Wonderful) - Le vecchie macchinine tornano utili! (Kids Steam Lab) Giulia Mandrino
