Hace un par de semanas hicimos un pequeño recorrido, con mayor detenimiento, por Australia. Con un pequeño cuaderno de explorador y lápiz en mano, fuimos dibujando y escribiendo aquello que íbamos descubriendo y recordando de nuestra anterior vuelta al mundo. Primero conocimos las máscaras de las tribus aborígenes, que destacan por sus formas y decoración. Los canguros llamaron nuestra atención y no por sus saltos, sino por su bolsillo donde vive y se alimenta el bebé canguro hasta que es mayor. Los fondos marinos australianos y sus arrecifes de coral son unos de los grandes tesoros de nuestro planeta dignos de admiración y que debemos proteger. Los simpáticos koalas despertaron la sonrisa de todos. Una foto con mamá koala y su pequeñún para no olvidar este gran viaje. Justo al lado de Australlia, concretamente en el "hall" del cole, se encuentra la exposición de torres hechas con cajas que cada clase decoró, en la semana cultural, sobre su país. La mayoría no las habían visto y se sorprendieron bastante. Buscamos los países que habíamos visitado, encontramos nuestra caja sobre China.... incluso algunos curiosearon durante un rato por la exposición. Una exposición muy cultural que despertó el interés y la curiosidad de todos los peques. Antes de regresar nos hicimos una foto de grupo en el "aeropuerto"..... y es que todos los días no tenemos la suerte de poder disfrutar de un viaje de esta categoría. Días después hicimos un trabajo en el que cada uno, utilizando su cuaderrno de explorador como ayuda, debía hacer un listado con 10 animales de Australia, puediendo pedir ayuda a los compañeros. Muchos se atrevieron ya con las minúsculas. Para finalizar y tener un recuerdo de nuestro viaje hicimos máscaras como las de las tribus australianas. La seño les repartió diferentes modelos de máscaras y ellos las dibujaron y decoraron libremente con rotulador, pintura y bastoncillos. Nos quedaron de lo más "pintorescas". Seguro que los aborígenes australianos las pueden utilizar para carnavales.
