Thank you so much for popping by, happy Sunday and welcome to another Stampin Sunday Blog with some super talented demonstrators from around the world It's my delight to introduce you to a brand new stamp set and dies that will be available from the 4th of May. Its called Hand Penned Petals and it has co-ordinating dies that not only cut out some of the stamped images, they also cut a filigree style cluster of flowers. Which you can see on the box I decorated below I decided to stamp a whole sheet with the floral stamps, then cut it up to make a collection of tags in a box. Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Polished Pink, I have to confess they are all beautiful this year, and I am looking forward to incorporating them into the rest of the Stampin' Up! palette. I really like the Pretty Perennials bundle and thought of it as soon as I saw the sketch this week for freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com I stamped the pieces in Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green and Pale Papaya on white card stock and cut them along with more white pieces with the matching Perennial Petals dies. I cut a 4' by 5 1/4" piece of card stock and blending some Polished Pink ink on with my blending brush and then ran it through with the Painted Texture embossing folder. I added it to a white base. I grabbed a gold hoop and layered my blooms and leaves around the right side. I also popped on a few pink rhinestones. I then stamped the sentiment from Art Gallery on white card stock in Polished Pink ink and cut it with the Floral Gallery die. Hope your Monday is lovely and thanks for stopping by! Windy Stamp sets: Pretty Perennials, Art Gallery Paper: Whisper White Ink: Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green, and Blushing Bride Perennial Petals dies, Floral Gallery dies, pink rhinestones, gold hoop, blending brush, Painted Texture embossing folder
Do you ever have one of those stamp sets that just kind of scares you a little? And by scares you, I mean, you are just not sure how to use it or you feel overwhelmed? I wasn't sure how to use all the pieces in this set until I created this Elegantly Said card and was able to combine several of the stamps in the set on this card! I was thrilled with the outcome!! I showed it to my friend Tammy and she loved it! yay! Direct to Rubber Technique Above: I used 3 Stampin'

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is to use ALL the new 2021-2023 In Colors on our project. (Whew! Thank goodness they all work together....I don't know what I'd do if I was stuck using Summer Starfruit from a few years ago. I just could not like that one at all.) 😜 Luckily, I love ALL the new In Colors, so this was a piece of cake for me! And, luckily, the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set had the perfect floral design so I could use all the colors! I stamped it twice on the left side of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock and colored the background around the flowers with the Light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blend. The the leaves were colored with Evening Evergreen, and the blossoms with the other three In Colors. I didn't want to waste a lot of ink by coloring the entire panel, so I added a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock embossed with one of the Greenery embossing folders, and a narrow strip of the gorgeous Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. It looked so nice that I had to add the swirly die cut from Painted Labels cut from the same gold. The greeting background was colored with the Light Pale Papaya Blends marker. That's my share for today. Now click the Next button to jump over to Libby Fens at Libby Stamps, or the Back button to see what Mary Brown at Stamper Camper's Corner has made! Welcome to another fabulous Monday Montage Blog Hop! Don't miss out on a single creation along the way....these ladies are amazing! Some very special friends of ours will be welcoming a sweet baby girl into the world in just a few short weeks. The momma-and-daddy-to-be were showered with love this past weekend, which, of course, called for a cute card! My inspiration for this card came from the baby shower invitation. These warm, calming colors were so much fun to use the with new Watercolor Shapes stamp set. I inked up the shapes in shades of Petal Pink, Pale Papaya, Cinnamon Cider and Merry Merlot, randomly stamping them in no particular pattern. Each of the adorable sentiments were heat embossed on coordinating card stock using the One Happy Family set. If you don't have this sentiment stamp set yet, it is a MUST HAVE! There are so many great sentiments! I love "you made a little human". This sentiment couldn't be more perfect for our friends! After layering everything, it felt like something was missing...embellishments, of course! Elegant Faceted Gems were the perfect final touch! We are all so excited for their little princess to make her way into world! We are counting down the days until we all get to meet her. Thank you for stopping by today! On to the next stop! Happy Stamping!

Yesterday I shared the first set of In Color card swaps by my Flowerbug's Team and today I'm sharing more. The first card is a fun fold card made by Karen A. This is such an easy fold as it's just adding one score line to your standard card. She chose to use the Nothing's Better Than stamp set. Her colors include Sweet Sorbet & Parakeet Party with a bit of Early Espresso & Crumb Cake for the greeting &...

Hello friends and welcome back to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! Be sure to make your way through all the stops...you won't want to miss a single project from this amazing group of stampers! Once again, after seeing some of the beautiful projects created using the soon-to-be-available Hand-Penned Suite, I just had to add it to my collection. I stamped the largest bloom in the set and colored it with Stampin' Blends in shades of Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya and Shaded Spruce. I created a pretty background by stamping the solid flowers in shades of Blushing Bride, Pale Papaya and Mint Macaron. Using the Blending Brushes, I added a bit of Blushing Bride around the edges and added just a few splatters of Blushing Bride as well. The Penned Flowers Dies are AMAZING and one was just perfect to tuck behind the bold flower and soft background. These pieces were paired up with a beautiful piece of Hand-Penned DSP and finished off with some Gold Fine Art Ribbon, Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon and a few Genial Gems. The pretty little sentiment is heat embossed in white and cut with the Tasteful Labels dies. Next up is the card that used ALL of the new stuff! Tailored Made Tags and Basic Borders paired up with the Hand-Penned Suite to create this beautiful thank you card. I used the two-step floral image, bringing Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya and Mint Macaron together to match the Hand-Penned DSP. This was layered on a Misty Moonlight die cut circle, which was embossed with the Greenery embossing Folders. Using the Basic Borders Dies, I cut the bottom of the card base front, allowing some pretty DSP to peek through from the inside of the card. You are going to LOVE these dies! The Tailored Made Tags was tailor made for the Thanks sentiment and the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon was the prefect way to top it all off! Thanks for stopping by and hopping along with us! Click on the NEXT button to keep on hopping! I hope to be back a bit more this week, but I make no promises. My youngest is going back to school for full days this week for the first time in over a year AND we have 5 baseball games this week. That makes me tired just typing it! Happy Stamping!
