About The Artwork my artwork is a totally original mix of media. start with the idea and with the unique process. I combines many layers and shapes, like flowers, wood everything that I can find in my surrounding, then i engage all together in to a digital process. I paint in advance many layers and then bring them to the digital. I draw the face in advance and then give it another touch with the digital to get the quality of the drawing I want to provide. I mixed all layers together to get a unique look. Then I print it on a very high quality of canvas in an artistic process called giclee print, to get the best results. then I work on the canvas with brushes, ink, graphite, acrylic in a traditional way, in a very accurate and a thin layer of colours to get an accurate, and a smooth feeling. It is not a coarse layer of colorus, it is very smooth and thin. I protect it with over varnish laqa . my process allowing me to create my unique style and identity. the client get a one of a kind original. About The Artwork Long Time Coming 72” x 48” @ Red Dot Miami Dec 5 - 9 Kris Gebhardt’s works are gritty — both literally and figuratively — gray and layered, his subjects are centrally focused over a massaged background. Born out of necessity, he engineered what was available for a base. Practiced over time and throughout many paintings this strategy became his style — matching subject matter to canvas and frame. Used cardboard, worn and tattered tarps stapled to one-by-fours, boxes and dismantled furniture are just a few of the starting points for a Kris Gebhardt “paintumentary.” Gebhardt Egos, competition, unsolicited opinions — two artists under one roof, is that even possible? It is, if those two artists are Angela and Kris Gebhardt. Decades of life lessons and experiences are visually rendered by husband and wife, large- format, mixed-media artists — peacefully. Gebhardt pieces don’t just hang on a wall, they dominate it. They make statements that stop people and start conversations. To achieve the power in their works, the Gebhardts don’t collaborate and rarely do they share opinions about projects in progress, or otherwise. While they both use a variety of the same materials to create their art, what they produce is distinctly different from each other, and their peers. Hers Only Angela knows what truly inspires her pieces. She expresses emotions in color and shapes that soothe, delight and excite. They are pretty and pleasing. Every letter, note or stroke of paint, is re-worked until perfect. Images, numbers and words are tattooed and layered in acrylic, charcoal, oil, chalk, graphite, paper and more — to form her “auto-paint- ographies”— telling a story that will remain forever hers. Angela’s intensely personal style resonates with patrons around the world and people connect with her work on another plane. Do they know her pain and sadness? Revel in her joy? Bask in her warmth? Like that which inspires Angela Gebhardt, we will never know. His By contrast, Kris’ works are gritty — both literally and figuratively — gray and layered, his subjects are centrally focused over a massaged background. Born out of necessity, he engineered what was available for a base. Practiced over time and throughout many paintings this strategy became his style — matching subject matter to canvas and frame. Used cardboard, worn and tattered tarps stapled to one-by-fours, boxes and dismantled furniture are just a few of the starting points for a Kris Gebhardt “paintumentary.” Each one tells a story about someone he has met, worked with and known — whether that is an actual person, the archetype of a being or himself. His inspiration comes from a variety of places like the Greatest Generation, friends, employers and his own non-artistic career. Gebhardt is proficient at portraying Every Man and his struggles. Never setting out to become an artist, Gebhardt wears many hats. He is a husband, father, entrepreneur, photographer, author, personal trainer and business man and draws his scenes from his many vocations. Theirs Whether you own an Angela Gebhardt, a Kris Gebhardt or one (or more) of each, undoubtedly, their unique individual styles have caught your eye. In this booklet, you will find more of her serene-scapes and his salty-characters. Heroes, villains, animals, influences and a list of prestigious international art shows where you are most likely to meet the artists and see their combined exhibit; along with some of their greatest hits are just beyond this page. Enjoy the art and appreciate learning a little more about the artists, the paintings and their backstory. Oil on canvas , 2019 First exhibited at the "Rage" exhibition - Qreator December 2019 paintedbyme.portfolio.site/rage-12122019-qreator-bucharest Anguish is derived from the Latin word angustiae, meaning extreme pain, distress or anxiety. The feeling of suffering from anguish is typically preceded by a tragedy or event that has a profound meaning to the being in question. Anguish can be felt physically or mentally (often referred to as emotional distress). Anguish is also a term used in philosophy, often as a translation from the Latin word for angst. It is a paramount feature of existentialist philosophy, in which anguish is often understood as the experience of an utterly free being in a world with zero absolutes (existential despair). In the theology of Kierkegaard, it refers to a being with total free will who is in a constant state of spiritual fear in the face of their unlimited freedom. Anguish is made up of fear, distress, anxiety and panic. These stressors cause an enormous amount of dissonance, which could then lead to issues of mental health. While taken literally anguish may be defined as a physical event, but it may be extrapolated to an event of one’s psyche. It has been found that the anguish of a significant change in the way a young student lives (i.e. their new responsibilities, being on their own, multiple deadlines etc.) has contributed to significantly increased rates of college students suffering from anxiety and depression. " All the knowledge allied with inquisitiveness, thirst for knowledge, natural talent, the self-seeking passion, all the knowledge the natural man promptly understands to be worth learning is also basically and essentially easy to learn, and aptitude is involved here from first to last. Therefore people are willing enough to learn when it is a matter of learning more, but when it is a matter of learning anew through sufferings, then learning becomes hard and heavy, then aptitude does not help, but on the other hand no one is excluded even though he is ever so lacking in aptitude. The lowliest, the simplest, the most forsaken human being, someone whom all teachers give up but heaven has by no means given up-he can learn obedience fully as well as anyone else. — Søren Kierkegaard, Upbuilding Discourses in Various Spirits, 1847, Hong translation, pp. 252–253 Is “truth” the sort of thing one might conceivably appropriate without more ado by means of another man? Without more ado-that is without being willing to be developed and tried, to fight and to suffer, just as he did who acquired the truth for himself? Is not that as impossible as to sleep or dream oneself into the truth. Is it not just as impossible to appropriate it thus without more ado however wide awake one might be? Or is one really wide awake, is not this a vain conceit, when one does not understand or will not understand that with respect to the truth there is no shortcut which dispenses with the necessity of acquiring it, and with that respect to acquire it from generation to generation there is no essential shortcut, so that every generation and every individual in the generation must essentially begin again from the start? — Søren Kierkegaard, Training in Christianity, 1850, pp. 181–182; Lowrie translation 1941, 2004 About this artwork: Classification, Techniques & Styles Oil Paint consisting of pigments bound with linseed oil or carnations. Los Angeles-based illustrator and storyboard artist Victo Ngai produces layered illustrations that reveal elaborate worlds filled with unexpected details. A beautiful expanse of unencumbered nature stands guarded inside a wide-mouthed bullfrog, while a seaside city burns with brilliant flames in the fabric of a heroine’s dress. Each scene inspires the viewer to pause, making sure they haven’t missed a key character that might unlock the work’s tangled narrative. Ngai is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, and provides illustrations for clients such as The New York Times and The New Yorker. More

About The Artwork A zebra crossing is the ultimate metaphor of our well-organized society with its rules and restrictions. It is a recurring element in many of my streetscape paintings. I love to watch people go by, especially when viewed from above. With the bright shade of blue I used for the shadows I want to evoke the vibrance of the city. Stretched on a sturdy wooden frame and ready to hang. With Certificate of Authenticity.
