When I was studying fashion trend forecasting at FIT in 2014, I remember the professors mentioning Bushwick as a place to keep an eye on it. Then, in that same year, Vogue choose the neighborhood as one of the coolest in the world. Today, Bushwick is the place for new music, buzzy eateries, fashion trends, galleries, and rock venues. Bushwick is probably what Williamsburg was once in that past – just because a lot of people say that Williamsburg is already gentrified enough, lol. Well, I’m not here to determine which one is the coolest one – but I wanna share some amazing things to do in Bushwick if you are planning to explore the area. Ok, so I am getting a bit tired of these shots myself, but now that I am a pigeon connoisseur I see each flock as different. You can see two of Tree's flocks, one landing in the foreground, and another swooping low in the right background. Here is more of the series: Pigeon Keepers of Bushwick
A riff on the Brooklyn cocktail recipe the Bushwick combines rye and sweet vermouth with Luxardo maraschino liqueur and Amer Picon.

One of Brooklyn’s many sobriquets is “The City of Churches”; do a Google Maps search for “brooklyn churches” and the borough comes back looking like it’s got the chicken pox it’s so covered in red dots. Many of these are small storefront churches and basement worship spaces, places where the faithful convene to pray together....
