Introducing a masterpiece by an award-winning marbling artist. You will receive the exact original paper as pictured in the first three images. Please note that the last screenshot is for demonstration purposes only. This marbled paper is perfect for bookbinding, scrapbooking, cardmaking, or framing and showcasing on your walls. All my products are uniquely designed and handcrafted. While I can create patterns, colors, and shapes that are extremely similar, each piece is one-of-a-kind. This unique quality adds to the fascinating and magical allure of marbling art. Marbling is the traditional art of crafting vibrant patterns using color pigments on oily water, combined with special ingredients, and then transferring these patterns onto special paper. This age-old craft, known as 'ebru' in Turkish, employs time-honored techniques. The word 'ebru' originates from the Persian word 'ebr,' which means 'cloud.' Over time, 'ebri' evolved from this term, taking on the meaning 'like a cloud' or 'cloudy,' and was adopted into Turkish as 'ebru.' Indeed, marbling often evokes the impression of clouds. Another possible source of the word 'ebru' is the Persian 'âb-rûy,' meaning 'face water.' While the exact origins of marbling remain uncertain, it is undoubtedly a decorative art deeply rooted in Eastern traditions. Dimensions: Length 50 cm, Width 35 cm (20 inches x 14 inches)
Papercrafting Challenge: Magazine Mondays Week 157 Entries & Winner! Papercrafting inspired by the Back-to-School season – were you as inspired as our papercrafters were? ****************************

Many of you may have noticed that Brian King is holding a one for one swap, if you missed it - you can click here to see it. I spoke with Brian, who is a fellow team member on the Global Design Project with me, and he is so sad that he wasn't able to offer it to Australia. I asked if he would be fine if I offered a one for one swap in Australia based on his idea. He thought it was a brilliant suggestion and is so happy that others can benefit from his idea! Sooooo.... I am offering a swap for Australians! May of you know that I LOVE sending and getting others to participate in RAK cards (Random Acts of Kindness) So this idea just touched my heart! You just make one card and mail it to me with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. I will then send you another card from what could be a random stranger! It is going to be so much fun! I know you are all going to love it. Brian has run a few of these swaps and said they were fantastic. Here’s how it works: You mail the following to me: a handmade card standard size designed by YOU, no CASEing for this swap. Please make every effort to use products from the current Stampin’ Up! catalogues. a self-addressed (that means your address), stamped envelope (that means put enough postage on the envelope). Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators and non-demonstrators can both play along! THEME: Positive Encouragement - Thank you, You rock, You're awesome, thinking of you, congratulations etc. These days it is nice to send a card just because - because it can encourage someone and build them up when they might be feeling a bit meh or even depressed. A handmade card and happy mail can make a big difference and it feels so good to receive but also to give that positive encouragement to others. Please don’t write on the inside of your card so that the recipient can use it (if they choose to), but feel free to stamp your name on the back. I will gather the cards I receive and will mix them up and mail them out so that everyone who sends me a card will receive a card in return. How much fun is that! I must limit participation to one card per person and to only Australian residents. Mail your card and stamped, return envelope to: Kylie Bertucci 78 Latham Street Werribee VIC 3030 Please mail them as soon as you can – but make sure they arrive by Friday, April 29 – that’s about THREE weeks away. That’s when I will sort them and then mail them out. I will also include photos of some of the cards on my blog (giving proper credit to the creator, of course). I know that you are going to get some awesome feedback on your cards and it will be so much fun to see them all on my blog in coming weeks. Who’s in? Email me if you have any questions [email protected]. Let me know what you think of this idea and if you are excited about it - because I know that I am! Please tell your friends and Stampin' Up!® team members as the more that play along - the more fun it will be. Thanks so much for your continued support of my blog and creations. I receive so many lovely cards and messaged and it warms my heart. Being encouraging to one another is so important these days as it is sadly lacking. Thank you for doing your part in making a difference in other peoples lives by your kind, encouraging words and actions.
Thank you for joining us today for our International Project Life by Stampin' Up! Blog hop. You may be just starting here or have come from the talented Constanze Wirtz. Either way you can make your way around by using the list below so that you don't miss a blog. We have and incredible group of talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who wanted to highlight Project life by Stampin' Up!® Memory keeping. At the moment you are currently in Australia and you are about to go around the world to different locations being inspired by Project life. I couldn't decide what to show you - so I have shown you quite a bit of my album - but mainly the things that I think will help you to see how easy Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® can be for you. First I want to find out what you think about Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® and what might be your hurdle from purchasing and using it. Project Life by Stampin' Up! Poll I have used Project life by Stampin' Up! and I love it! I am feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start I am not sure where to get my photo's printed Not sure of how to get my photo's printed at the different sizes Not interested in memory keeping Other Please Specify: Poll Maker Many have expressed that they are feeling overwhelmed but you only need these things to start - The Photo Pocket Pages Project Life Card Collection Photos You don't even need the album right away - you can just test the waters first... I recommend starting with the 6"x8" album if you haven't done it before - It is quick and less overwhelming. A whole album can take you less than one hour! That's right! It is very fast. You can see I used the embellishments and branding from the table.... I thought it was a great idea! I did't want to waste those sequins... I also used them on the inside of the cover too. The CentreStage banner I put a whole punch through and then just clipped it in. Looks great hey! See how simple this can be? just a few photos and one of the Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® Cards and there is a two page spread - this took me literally minutes to put together and yet so many special memories from my time at CentreStage. All I added was some sequins. Now many of you may be wondering how I get the smaller photos? It is so easy!! I have a video I have made for my Australian readers to show you how simple it is to get those photos off your phones and social media and into one of these albums. It is even a great way to collect memento's for the day. How nice to look back at the agenda and remember what happened during the day. This was so much fun - I highly recommend doing it! I asked a number of people if they could write a few notes that they loved from the day and then return the Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® card to me. I gave them two journal cards - one for them to keep and hopefully add to their album and one for me to put in mine. Oh what treasures those notes have been. Some helped me to remember points that I wouldn't have otherwise. Others are nice notes for me. It was a great way to remember the day. Also you can see that the cards are all over the place - I am not one to be perfect - I just put them in anywhere in any direction and you know what - It is just right for me! If you do have photo's that just don't seem to be fitting in - don't think that you can't have two pages with different directions - people can just turn the album to look! It gives you more room to use your photos. So my tips - don't get too bogged down picking exactly where you want each photo to go - however if you do want to preplan ever page - YOU CAN! Becky Higgings has a Project Life app. You can do it all on your phone see how it looks and then know what photos to order. Want to know how to print those smaller 4"x3" photos? You will not believe how easy it is - in Australian you can go to the Big W Photos website and you select collage - not digital photos..... Watch this video to see just how easy it is! I really hope that our blog hop today gets you motivated to give Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® a try and I know that once you try it once and get the hang of what you are doing - you will fall in love with this memory keeping system. It is quick, cheap, so rewarding and creative! Thank you so much for joining me today - please make sure that you don't miss one of these amazing blogs as you hop around. Next up is the talented Dena Plummer Rekow who is a project life superstar! She has been making these albums since they came out. She blogs and has videos about project life so be sure to check out all her amazing resources. Happy Fourth of July Eve to you!! I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesives 3L blog today with a complete step by step tutorial on how I made this faux tile card. I love cards with dimension and it was so easy to do using Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares. Cool right? My sentiment is from SRM Stickers which I hand cut into a banner shape. Be sure to pop over the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog for full instructions! :) I have more modeling pictures of Cortney. (I hope you aren't ready to throw something at your computer right now!) LOL! Petit Bowtique sent her this beautiful headband. It was so pretty and comfortable. No squeezing of the temples or headaches! We have our Fourth of July parade and fireworks tonight! Even though I live near Chicago, our town is a bit like Mayberry! Everyone comes out with their lawn chairs and it turns into one big block party of sorts! The fireworks are right down the block from our house, so we get to watch the show from our deck. It's awesome! It's definitely something we look forward to each year!
