I'm back for Day 4 of the MFT March Release Countdown with an interactive card featuring the adorable airplane from Stacey Yakula's Sky High stamp set.
Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! It's time to begin the Countdown to the AWESOME May MFT Release! All of the new goodies will be available on Tuesday, May 7th at 10AM in the MFT Boutique! Today I have a card to share with you using the DARLING new Stacey Yacula Friendly Foxes, Friendly Foxes Die-namics, Greetings & Salutations, and Skinny Strips Die-namics! I LOVE all of Stacey's sets, and the Friendly Foxes are no exception! I cut this cutie, as well as the two sprigs of grass, from No-Line Coloring Card Stock using the Friendly Foxes Die-namics, and stamped them using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink with Friendly Foxes. I colored them with Copic Markers and put them to the side. I used the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics to cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock. On one, I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink to create the clouds. On the second panel, I sponged on Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink, and then trimmed it down and added it to the cloud panel. I added the fox and grass, popping them all up with foam tape. The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Rectangle STAX 2 Die-namics, and I used the same die-namics to cut a panel of patterned paper from the Party Patterns Paper Pack. I trimmed down the polka dot panel and attached it to the main panel. I popped up the focal panel using foam tape, lining up the "grass line" with the patterned paper on the main panel. I cut the sentiment panel from Smooth White Card Stock using the super fab new Skinny Strips Die-namics, and stamped "CONGRATULATIONS", from the new Greetings & Salutations set, using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I added the sentiment strip, popping it up with foam tape, and finished off the card with a trio of enamel dots. Thanks SO much for stopping by! Please head over to the MFT Blog to check out what the rest of the team has created, and for a chance to win an MFT Gift Certificate!
Hi everyone! Welcome to the first Countdown day for the new Card Kit at MFT Stamps, tomorrow this amazing release will be available in the MFT store! I'm sharing an adorabe card today, created with the new Mini Messages & More stamp set and Paper Goods Die-namics! I started this card with a card base in A2 sieze, created from Ripe Raspberry Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics, I keep saying it, these borders are just amazing! I then blended a fun soft pink background on this piece, added a few hearts to my background very subtle, and some white splatters. I stamped the cute small sentiments in a pink colour and then added the adorable little envelop to my background, created with the Paper Goods Die-namics. Make sure to check this amazing Card Kit and all the items included at MFT Stamps! Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Hello and welcome to Countdown Day Two for Good Time to Wine, MFT’s December Card Kit, and Stacey Yakula Release, Tweet Friends Stamp Set and Die-namics. How stinkin’ CUTE are these little birdies??? I just love their retro look and feel! Release is tomorrow, December 18th at 10am, Eastern. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. To create my background, I sponged Berrylicious Premium Dye Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I then stamped all the images and colored them with Copic markers, laid out my scene, and stamped the music notes and sentiment. Next I added Grassy Edges Die-namics cut from Sour Apple and Limelight card stocks and adhered them—the front popped up on foam tape. Then I added the images, most also popped up on tape for dimension, and finished off with some clouds from Spring Scene Builder Die-namics. And that’s it for Day Two of MFT’s December Card Kit and Stacey Yakula Release! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back with a project for release tomorrow at 10am so I hope to see you then! Hoi! Happy Monday everyone, today we're introducing the amazing Crafty Hands Card Kit. It's jam-packed with creative dies and stamps every crafter needs! The new products will be available tomorrow at 10 am EST. The price for this collection of coordinated products is more than 30% off the cost of buying the elements separately. Creating and sending out cards is such a joy! For my first card I combined dies from 5 of the 6 new Die-namics sets. I started off with a white A2 card base and trimmed down the striped paper from the Finishes and Textiles Paper Pad to be a bit smaller. The Crafty Hands were die cut from white cardstock and I colored them with Copic markers. Next, I die cut all the bits and pieces from cardstock and a piece of Poppin' Polka Dots Paper to create the envelope, card, postage stamp, pen and glasses. The pink hearts were cut from a left-over alcohol ink background. I adore the Mini Messages & More stamp set that comes with a wonderful mix of favorite MFT stamps in a miniature version. I picked the 'miss you' sentiment and stamped it onto the front of the mini card. The tiny text on the pen is from the same stamp set. The other sentiment is from the Crafty Friends stamp set which is the Free with $60 Gift option. I stamped it in black onto a white cardstock strip and used a fishtail banner die from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set to cut it out. I assembled the card by spreading the die-cuts across the card and adhering them with liquid glue. Here's another peek at the December Card Kit: Please visit the MFT YouTube channel for even more ideas, product details and tutorials. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day! Anja

Succes! Hello all, Today i'm back with a project for My Favorite Things, today it's time for the Hits & Hightlights. The team inspires you with projects featuring a specific theme or products. Today we are showcasing the versatility of the Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics. So for today's Hits & Highlights i decided it was time to make a different themed card then Christmas/ Winter and went all summer using the Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics together with the Best Fins set. Made the background using Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistashio and Peacock Feathers Distress inks. cut it using the slimline rectangle and the slimline ocean motion Die-Namics. Stamped the sentiment in the middle of the ocean. Cut another Smooth White slimline rectangle and made the mechanisme following Karolyn her tutorial. Glued the mechanisme on to a Topfold Smooth White cardbase and added the water. Using Natural cardstock and some Vintage photo i made the sand, cut using the stiched slimline snowdrifts. Stamped the images, colored them up using my Copic markers and cut them using the matching Die-Namics. Used Copic Colors: Red - R59, R29, R27, R24 Pink - YR09, YR06, YR04 Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13 Green - YG25, YG23, YG21 Purple - V09, V06, V05 Blue - B04, B02, B00 Black - N8, N6, N4 Bear - E55, E53, E51, E50 So after some thinking i decided to make another card using the Movin' & Groovin Die-Namics this time i used the Sky High by Stacey Yacula. The big difference is that i used the normal version of the Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics. The mechanisme is the same accept for the fact it is smaller. So the base of the card is a topfold Kraft card. Cut a designpaper panel and added the mechanisme followed the tutorial. Die cut a cloud and stamped the sentiment on to it. Add the could to the panel and stamped all the images. the cloud are not colored and i glued them staight on the base of the card. Colored the Flying Machine, cut it using the matching Die-Namics and added it to the base, because it was so big i extended the acetate strip so it would hold on to the machine. Finished the card of using some wooden stars. Used Copic Colors: Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11 Teal - BG15, BG17, BG11, BG10 Blue - B02, B00, B000, B0000 White - C5, C3, C1, 0 Black - N7, N5, N3 Hedgehodge - E55, E53, E51, E50 Fox - E09, E08, YR24, YR21, W3, W1, W00 Have a lovely day! Today I am so excited to share a card with you using the ADORABLE new Cottontail Cutie Die-namics, and Stacey Yacula Easter Bunnies! Cuteness! I LOVE this sweet little bunny! She is SO easy to create, too! I used the new Cottontail Cutie Die-namics to create her, and cut her from Smooth White Card Stock, Cotton Candy Card Stock, Black Licorice Prestige Card Stock and Cement Grey Prestige Card Stock. I added a little color to her cheeks with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink, and then assembled her. I added a bow to her ear using white twine. The main panel of Smooth White Card Stock was cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and I added a strip of patterned paper from the Petite Plaid Paper Pack. I cut a panel of Sour Apple Card Stock using the Grassy Fields Die-namics, and then added the bunny to the grass panel. I then popped up the bunny using foam tape onto the main panel. It's time! You may now purchase My Favorite Things March Release! All spankin' new goodies can be found right here in the MFT Store. I'm featuring the Stitched Interactive Window Trio-- Vertical paired with Purr-fect Friends from last month's release. Hello and welcome to Day Four of MFT’s April Release! So, did you just love yesterday’s preview?? There’s much more to come so let’s get to it! Release is on April 9th at 10am so make sure your calendars are marked, and be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for all the details and more sample of today’s previews: SY Piggy Pebbles Stamp Set, SY Piggy Pebbles Die-namics, SY Scene Builder Stamp Set, Little Piggy Die-namics, and Shutter Card Components Die-namics. Today’s card features all three of the Stacie Yakula products for April. We now have a scene builder for her adorable stamps and dies! How awesome is that??? For my card I wanted to go light and airy with my little piggy dancin’ in the rain and stompin’ in puddles. I stamped the Scene Builder images on No Line Coloring card stock with Cement Gray hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers then stamped the sentiment, also with Cement Gray hybrid ink. I masked the tree top for the center cloud because my rain clouds were moving on ;-) The piggy image was also stamped with Cement Gray hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up in the scene with foam tape. A little Red Hot card stock heart, cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics finished it off. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Handmade card featuring the adorable SY Reel-y Great Day stamp set and coordinating Die-namics by My Favorite Things from the June 2022 Release.
Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products. Welcome back! Today I have three very different cards, all showing off August release products. This first card is my favorite of the day, but shhh, don't tell the other cards! First I applied watermark ink onto Black Licorice cardstock through the new Stencil Jumbo Polka Dot. I was curious how it would work for heat embossing, so I poured embossing powder over the dots and removed the excess. Then I heat set. Happy, happy, happy with the results! Then I stamped the small heart from Love's The Ticket and heat embossed those with a blue embossing powder. Having this idea work out is fantastic because now I can create my own "patterned paper" on dark cardstock too! I added a piece of Blu Raspberry cardstock that had been cut with Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX. It was also stamped with Striped Backgrounds in Sweet Tooth ink. The word hello was cut from Die-namics Happy Hello. To make the bright pink cardstock match the duller tone of my embossing powder, I inked over the word with Natural ink. Remember that--need to change the cardstock color slightly? Ink it! This card was inspired by the sentiment from Geek is Chic, "stay focused." I wondered if I could somehow blur the letters in the background, but keep what was under the glasses in focus. (Can you tell I just had my annual eye exams and tests? :)) Black Licorice cardstock was cut with Die-namics Bottom Line Alphabet and random letters were adhered to a panel of Primtive White cardstock. Then I trimmed a piece of Vellum to size, leaving it long on both ends. I cut the vellum with Die-namics Geek is Chic Glasses, using low-tack tape to keep the glasses exactly where I wanted them. Then I folded the long ends of the vellum over the letter panel. I did that so I could adhere the vellum without it being visible on the front of the card. Another pair of glasses was cut with Die-namics Geek is Chic Glasses, this time from Electric Red cardstock. I put the sentiment from Geek is Chic on the inside, along with a stamped image of a pair of glasses. Final card, with more eye inspiration! I stamped the Eye Chart sentiment onto Primitive White cardstock with Nightshift Blue ink. Then I cut the cardstock with Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX. I added a heart at the bottom using Die-namics Heart STAX and Blu Raspberry cardstock. To the bottom of the heart, I added a piece of metallic gold cardstock to add to the "bottom" part of the sentiment. I made my own "patterned paper" again with stamps. This arrow is from Geek is Chic. Its randomly stamped on Primitive White cardstock. A few of the arrows were heat embossed with gold powder to coordinate with the bottom of the heart. One last quick look at the heart and sentiment. Be sure and visit the MFT Blog for a better look at all the products being shown today! They always have video tutorials that show the products in use! Hi there crafters! Yeah, the new Card Kit is now available at MFT Stamps! I'm sharing a fun card today featuring the new fun Mini Messages & More stamp set and Tools of the Trade Die-namics! I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and blended a fun background using two colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I then added a second layer, diecutted with the second largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectancle Stax. I blended the background on this piece as well and added the fun sentiment from the stamp set. I then added all the diecutted parts from the Tools of the Trade Die-namics set, all coloured with Copic Markers. Make sure to check this amazing Card Kit and all the items included at MFT Stamps! Have fun shopping! Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
