This potter channels her Nordic heritage with simple shapes and minimal decoration to make functional everyday pieces
Organic sculptural earthenware vase thrown on the wheel in one piece and manipulated by hand off the wheel. White, blues, and warm greens glazing on red clay. The vase is just under 6" tall and under 6" at the widest diameter. There are two additional openings for flowers of greenery on either side of the pot, as pictured in the last two images. Each piece is hand thrown on a potters wheel, trimmed on the wheel, and altered off the wheel. This piece has yellow gold luster applied. Please note slight color variation is expected as each piece is crafted by hand and glaze may vary in different lighting. Shipping delicate ceramics can be challenging. I personally and carefully wrap and pack each piece in layers of foam, bubble wrap, and carboard, as well as fill additional empty space with biodegradable packing peanuts. Please let me know if you have any issues with your piece when it arrives. Please message with questions or comments. View my other work in my shop or on Instagram @kts.ceramics Commissions are open.
