Richard Diebenkorn, Lyrical painter, Dies at 71 - By Michael Kimmelman, New York Times newspaper, March 31, 1993 - Richard Diebenkorn 1922-1993, one of the premier American painters of the postwar era, whose deeply lyrical abstractions evoked the shimmering light and wide-open spaces of California, where he spent virtually his entire life, died yesterday at his home in Berkeley. He was 70.

This print features a reproduction of Ocean Park No. 68 (1974) by Richard Diebenkorn, an artist whose work is featured in MoMA's collection. It's mounted and laminated for protection from dust and UV rays, and floated in a hand-stained, natural, 2"-deep frame made from ash wood grown in sustainable forests. Hanging kit included.
