A sad day for those of us who grew up on the classic Supermarionation series such as Stingray and Thunderbirds as the news broke this morning that Sylvia Anderson had passed away. Sylvia's autobiography, 1991. Not only a marvelous voice artist (Venus in Fireball XL5 and Lady Penelope in Thunderbirds to name but two) Sylvia Anderson was also a talented writer and co-producer of the shows, involved in character development and costume design.
