My mandate on Far Cry 4 was modeling the vegetation assets for the next gen version of the game. I worked on the trees and the bushes. I also did the fallen trunks assets. I worked with Stephane Joncas on the modeling of the trees and the bushes and Minh Nhat Le worked on the grass. Paulette Richardson and Pascal De Sampaio did the textures of the vegetation.

far cry 4

This is an artwork done for Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 :: Valley of the Yeti It was a fun project and I had the chance to be involved from the early concept phase. I've added some of those concepts I did at the beginning. At some point it was also question of adding a lot of snow and wind, in the end they kept the ''cleaner version'', but I like the snowy one as well, you can see it below ^_^ I used 3dsmax and vray for the 3d parts, and photoshop for comp and painting, alongside some of my own photographs for some parts of the foreground snow chunks. The 3D models were done by others, but I had a fur job to experiment on the beast, I used hair and fur, from Max. Thank you!

The Tanto, upscaled and retextured for FC4's Arena environment. It's always fun to use Zbrush from time to time.

Texture and shaders by me Modeling by Jerome Busque

It was another great chance for me to work with amazing and talented people from Blur on Far Cry 4. I had opportunity to work on a number of environments such as arena, temple and village.
