Battersea Power Station was built in the 1930's and Station B was added in the 1950's. It was a coal fired power station that was decommissioned in 1983. It is still today the largest brick built structure in Europe and is a Grade II listed building. It was designed by Architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott.
