These are the newest patterns from Jane Eborall. Thank you so much Jane. Aren't they adorable? I love how the back legs are formed and the stretching is so life-like. I suppose you can pose them however you like during blocking. I added a yellow bead for the eye and a pink one for the nose. And in the second one I added double picots for the ears. I wanted them to be extra pointy.
All tatting designs contain rings and picots. The ring forms the basis of the design. The picots are used for decoration and for joining. These directions are described in detail to help to make the steps clear in your mind. Once you have...

My Motif # 6 is from Judi Banashek's book "Advanced Tatting Patterns". I used white Lizbeth Size 20 thread. Judi is the founder of our Oklahoma Shuttle Bugs tatting group. She is a wonderful teacher and I learned so much from her. A few years ago she moved to Waxahachie, TX to be close to her daughters. Good news! Terry McGuffin gave me permission to post her pattern for the Windmill Snowflake. As soon as I locate it I'll try to figure out a way to post it here.

Well, this lesson was all about Cloverleafs or as some call them Trefoils...depending on the size of the Rings I guess. I call them all Cloverleafs, myself...lol 3 Rings all done, one right after another in a group, whatever you want to call them. We tried making the Rings the same size and then making the 1st and 3rd Ring smaller than the 2nd Ring. How does that affect the joining Chain? Very interesting lesson! Y'all ready for another one of my FREE Crochet Patterns? lol Well, this is a reall cutey and real fast and easy too. Click Here for the Picture Frame Ornament (this one is a Word document) That is a picture of my Manda when she was about 9 years old...my how the years do go by! lol

Too cute ; ) I see on the box there is a collection of FIVE. The other four look to be the same doll in different clothing. Would be nice to see the clothing sold separately. I'm just sayin.
