Madame Leota is the spirit of a psychic medium residing in the Haunted Mansion. Manifesting as a disembodied head inside a misty crystal ball, she is able to send "sympathetic vibrations" to summon ghosts from the spirit world so that the guests may meet them and join them in their "swinging wake." Print out these Haunted Mansion wallpaper cupcake wrappers for your Halloween party and turn store bought cupcakes into a hauntingly awesome party treat. Such a simple way to add some fun to your dessert table tonight! You guys know that I love to throw a good party, but am all about making it easy and affordable. After all, we are moms. Who has the time or money to spend thousands on a child's birthday party? Most of us can barely find time to shower during the day. But that doesn't mean we don't like awesome parties that have great themes and fun party decorations. And isn't it nice we can do that quick, easy and frugally? One of the easiest ways to decorate your dessert table and bring it into your party theme is to add a cupcake topper or cupcake wrapper to store bought cupcakes. If you have the time and energy to make them yourself, extra props to you! But I love Sam's club cupcakes. They are beautiful and yummy. (I can never get my frosting to swirl quite as nicely. But cake's are definitely not my thing...except when it comes to eating.) So I love to create printable cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers for my parties. My cupcake wrappers have two options for you to put together. I love to just cut them out and tape them together. It makes it so easy. But, if you forget your tape (am I the only one who has done that? You remember all the big stuff and then forget little things like tape or scissors? Geesh.), you can cut out the groove and slot and insert them together to form your cupcake pretty easily. For my Haunted Mansion Halloween party, I decided to go with the purple Haunted Mansion wallpaper design. These printable cupcake wrappers are so easy to assemble and turn your cupcakes into a showpiece for your Haunted Mansion party. Print them out and then be sure to check out all the other Halloween and Haunted Mansion ideas here: An InLinkz Link-up

Welcome to Disney's Haunted Mansion, where Grim Grinning Ghosts came out to socialize for two parties this week. The inspiration for our ghostly event came from this picture which we have had for quite a few years now. We purchased it at Disney World a few years ago, signed by Larry Dotson, 2008. I happened to have this hearse that I got at Home Goods a few years ago, which looks so much like the one in the print. Then I got on Amazon and found table runners with the pattern of the Haunted Mansion, and the tables all came together. Hubby and I were Maleficent and Diavol for both parties. This one was for a smaller party of ten, for friends. This one was for the family and we seated 26. I got new purple chargers from Amazon and used my white plates and gold flatware. For the smaller group I was able to use these twig ones. For the larger group I used my everyday gold flatware, as I have more of those. A neighbor had gifted me 40 of these huge purple water goblets, as she knows I love tablescaping and purple. Her MIL had these and had never used them. They were perfect for the large crowd and I didn't even mind using them on the kid's table as we had a few to spare. Of course, Madam Leota had to be present for the Haunted Mansion. And large candelabras are required at the Haunted Mansion. I also purchased the Haunted Mansion music on Itunes and we had that playing as background music. It features the entire soundtrack from the Disney ride. For the family party we asked everyone to make a Disneyland dish, so from left to right we have Bengal BBQ's spicy beef skewers, Carnation Cafe's potato soup, and Ronto Wraps from Star Wars. A Disney inspired Halloween Macaron topped with Green Apple Pop Rocks and raspberry sauce and filled with black (cherry flavored) ice cream - wow! We also had a huge assortment of wonderful Haunted Mickey cookies. For the friend party we did fondues. We had pizza fondue and cheese fondue for the main dish and chocolate and caramel fondues for dessert. So pack your bags and come along on our Haunted Mansion ride, but beware of hitchhiking ghosts! Thanks for joining our scary ride and, "Hurry back, hurry back!" I will be posting with Tablescapes Thursday Love Your Creativity

Welcome Foolish Mortals... to the Haunted Mansion! Growing up in Southern California and being raised on Disney Princesses meant many trips to Disneyland as a child. Today I celebrate turning 25 by sharing some free Halloween printables inspired by a ride in a place that is near and dear to my heart - Disneyland's Haunted Mansion! The color pallet included purple, green, black, and orange. The cupcake wraps were inspired by the Mansion Maids costumes and the iconic mansion wall paper. The prints I've created include a welcome sign featuring the hitch hiking ghosts and a Tomb Sweet Tomb cross-stitch. Check out my Haunted Mansion Pinterest Board for other decor ideas! The tombstone cookies by Marinold Cakes were actually printed with edible ink using printables that Disney created. Check out the links down below to see other FREE Printables by Disney that would go with this party - especially the Tomb Sweet Tomb Treat Boxes! They are perfectly sized for making sure your little monsters don't make off with too much candy!
